SSD in a Dedicated Server

    Has anyone here experimented with SSDs in a dedicated server? I am interested in learning more about the benefits and negative things that SSDs can bring to the hosting environment.

    We have been using SSD in DB intensive applications and it has given us some fantastic results. The failure rates can be something that given a negative mark for SSDs in long run. I recommend 15k sas on raid-10 would be equally good solution as SSD.
