Im building my brother in law a website for his new business. He will be installing windshields in the area where he lives in. Since all i need is traffic from the locals, what would be the best way to get it? Submiting the url to hundreds of link directories, is it still worth it? Also, under a certian keyword phrase that im aiming at, theres a website in the local area thats always on top, they have a PR of 2 and only have 29 Do-Follow backlinks plus like 150 No=Follow backlnks. How hard would it be to take their place and get into that number one spot? Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
that's fairly easy, I believe..focus on your keywords since you mentioned that it's a local business..don't forget to check the traffic for those keywords. And yes, incoming links would greatly help.
