Squidoo - what's the deal?

i didn't know where to put this topic, but it relates more to link development than anything.

i've set up a couple of squidoo "lenses", and i'm sure i looked earlier and my "link list" had no-follow disabled, but now it's back on every link. i would only be concerned with creating Squidoo pages for their link juice value, but i can't figure out if they follow or not as they seem to change :S

Work in progress or unpublished lenses have the nofollow tag. Is it on a new lens or an older one? When you saw them do-follow, are you sure you weren't looking from the edit page? They don't show nofollow there even if the lens is still in no-follow status.

Get a few backlinks etc... it should go follow when you get the green checkmark next to the lens.

ahhh that would explain it. i've done 2 lenses and the one with no follow is apparently unpublished. i assume it requires verification from the admins??

Not necessarily, I think if you have the minimum number of published modules and a certain amount of content it will be published the day after you hit publish. The change occurs during maintenance.
