Any pros and Cons? I'm using both. Just didn't know if any are better for the search engines or for any other reasons in general.
I have never used squidoo but I have come across a few people who use is and love it. I will be following this thread to see what other people have to say.
I love squidoo, I have made quite a good deal of money off it. The internal linking structure allows you to quickly dominate the SERP's. Just blogged about it last week: Using Squidoo to make money online. They aren't completely compatible platforms to be comparing though, as a lens is closer to a static webpage while with blogger you are dynamically adding content.
I prefer Squidoo myself but the fact that Blogger blogs get indexed quickly because it's a part of Google makes it a very good option too. I use both and make great money from it.
they are 2 different things. depending on what you are trying to do, one might owrk better than other. blogger is a blogging plarform where you can keep writing posts and create nea pages. on the other hand, squidoo social site that allows you to create a lens or page which you can use for various reason. use it as a landing page, use it for making money from adsense or affiliate program, promote your own product, get PR and backlink juice form the lens, etc
The one advantage with a lens over a blog is that with a blog you keep having to add new content. It requires a lot more work, but if it's a topic you are passionate about then blog about it. On the other hand, if you simply want to promote an affiliate program, stick to Squidoo.
Great advice. Personally I didn't know the difference but now I can see some of the pros and cons. Thanks again toall for the advice.
