I am using Squidoo lenses for SEO purpose. Following Squidoo Lens was built by me & it was locked by Squidoo (I don’t know the reason) two months ago. http://www.squidoo.com/COLOMBO-STOCKS Today I checked my lens & found that someone has registered it & updated with his or her content but topic (Stock Market Today) was same. The Google Page Rank (PR 3) still available for above URL. My question is how this happen? Is making lenses wasting our time?
du no about your case, but i use squidoo to build some backlink and it work for me. may be some one can give more reasons?
No squidoo helps a lot to get the backlinks and traffic too.its not a waste of time. and as far as your lense is concerned it doesnt gets open also...
Of course it helps for back links. What I am trying to say is if we lose our lens after getting Page Ranks & someone can register that Squidoo URL for him is complete waste of time for the lens master who originally built it. You can understand if you go to his or her Bio page. Membership is since 10th April 2010. So how can this lens get PR 3? http://www.squidoo.com/lensmasters/dannielkennady
Have you tried contacting Squidoo? I've never had a problem with that site. And I have lenses that are a couple of years old.
No when my lens was locked I thought it will be available for me after they manually review it. I think now I am too late to regain it. It was on my dashboard as a one of my lens even after they locked it. Now it is no longer available on my dashboard.
