I hope you guys are making way more than 1200 per year or even 10 times that. It wouldn't make sense in America to work so hard. I have had many colleagues come into IM and make money by driving traffic to purchase their service/products. A lot of MONEY! They all tried to make money with affiliates for years but weren't that great at it. Usually, 300 to 600 a month - enough money to pay for their main websites to drive organic traffic. Excuse the attitude of my first post but I am somewhat arrogant; however, I'm always a student and a teacher and ready to take this new adventure that is Internet Marketing since my other business has given me a lot of free time. It's not that much work. No matter what, most people that are earning an income via the internet are working at it. They must come up with new content, create graphics for people, write blog posts (for money), etc. It all requires work. It's good residual income. There's the expected payout amount, based upon the average position within the tiers. But there's also unexpected income via people purchasing products or services via the affiliate links (both yours and Squidoo's). It's all part of the bigger picture! Squidoo, plus your other work, can mean a steady income of traffic (to your other sites) and money. But beyond all that, making Squidoo lenses is fun. If it's not fun, don't bother doing it.
I am starting to see the bigger picture now. 'Rising tide raises all ships' - in your portfolio. Very interesting. BTW - over 3,000 posts? Your a F**k'n animal! If posts equal knowledge, experience and prosperity in this business, then it would behoove anyone serious in this business to keep you close, maybe closer than their enemies! Cheers!
yea! you can create a lens on any niche/topic of your choice, make it good! and show ppl why you like that particular thing and why they should get it or look into it
