I just produced my first Squidoo lens and was quite surprised that the external links in my lens all have a no-follow tag. I had designed my lens with two deep links back to my main site. Everything I have read about Squidoo lenses indicates that it is a great tool for generating trafic and deep links. I reviewed over a dozen other lenses before creating my own lens and all of those lenses had followable external links. I spent quite a bit of time designing my lens and am wondering if the no-follow on text links and on the link list is normal. Is it permanent, temporary??? Did I just do the lens incorrectly? Any help would be appreciated.
OK, answered my own question. It just takes a while for it to be processed and the nofollow links are dropped automatic. Can take up to 24 hours.
Looks like I may have to try out this Squidoo site myself - I haven't looked into it much but it sounds promising.
That's right. You have to wait until there has been a lensrank update. This usually happens once every 24 hours but occasionally they miss a day or two.
