I would just start small at first. Add some text modules and a few "text with picture" modules to begin with. If you are an Amazon affiliate feel free to add their widget as well. The new layout of Squidoo makes it really easy to navigate on the right hand side of the page. Just remember to SAVE every change you make!

Typically what I do to start out is the intro module, two text modules and an rss module. I believe you have to have at least 4 modules for it not to be considered a suspect lense.

How do you best determine the level of keyword to use. Some say not to use extremely competive keywords cause as a newb I wont hack it. What would be a good level of competition to use in choosing some keywords for Squidoo.

If you are just getting started, start here: http://www.squidoo.com/crash-course-lens

It breaks down the basics and gives links for further reading on individual topics like how to create lenses.

    Hope this helps :-D

Yep, try to add at least 4 blocks then you won't be flagged as easily for checking and deletion.

you will need to create a lens with atleast 3 modules for the lens to be considered as complete by Squidoo. all you have to do is to write an article with 3 or more paragraphs and add them on the squidoo modules. add few images as well. as far as goes with amazon, ebay and other other modules, you dont have to use them unless you have affiliate accounts with them

Don't forget about tags. Use lots of different (but still related tags). Look for similar lenses and copy their tags
