Squidoo Lens clickthrough issue

I'm working on testing multiple ways to get someone to click to the merchant's site or my site from a Squidoo lens...any tips on what to put on the lens to increase the CTR? It's funny, some lenses that have reviews get hardly any clickthroughs while some lenses with almost nothing on it but "click here for more info" type text get good CTR. I'm open for suggestions!

Add useful content on your lens for people interested in the subject. Don't make your lens look like a sales page. Make it like a resource center about something and of course give out some information about the product as well.

Thanks, dude! I went to one of my lenses and created a free report on my site and then added that fact to the lens. Can't wait to see if it helps the CTR!!

Always in a lens hit them with about 3-4 links throughout the page. Try not to put too much information. I suggest and it was stated in another thread within the last few days. Work on pointing out the benefits.

Most high gravity products have great sales copy the trick is to get them over there asap with out loosing their interest ... presell with benefits the sales page usually has most of the info once they are there. Most people scan when reading online so take advantage of a few bold and italic phrases!
