Squidoo Lens after creation

I'm looking into having a couple Squidoo Lens created for my sites. The service I'm looking at will create the lens, 500+ word article with keyword focus, 20+ links to it, and some other stuff.

My question is this. After its initial creation and set up and then the lens is put in my account do I have to do a lot of upkeep for it? Meaning do I have to post on it or anything regularly to keep the juice flowing so to speak?

I've never used squidoo before and that site is actually blocked from my work where I am now so I can't really see how it works.

    Thanks!

You don't have to touch a Squidoo lens after it's been created. But it would be good if you could update it every now and then. It's very easy to do it, and won't take much of your time.

Update and build links to your lens regularly. You need to have a solid link structure, that will help keep you on the right track. The lens is hands free, but if you want to make the most out of it, then you need to create links to your lens. I hope the lens isn't your only backlink plan.

Build lots of lenses. Link between them randomly. Link to lenses from other sites. Link to articles you have written in article directories from your lens. In other articles in the article directories, link to your lens.
