Squidoo Is Now Nofollow Link

It seems you worry for nothing. I've just checked a couple of my lenses and all is ok - links are not "nofollowed"... but, you are right a little if you use block "Text with large image" (I don't remember how its name exactly) then link is "nofollowed". So, the resume - don't use those block.

P.S. It is not myth. Just try to use the aforesaid block. Or I can show you my lens as evidence.

I say you are wrong! Just posted three days ago and is DOFOLLOW. I have one from three months ago DOFOLLOW still. I have heard this before but it is not true. Please post proof.

In the attachment you see a screenshot of page and notepad with source code! Do you see strikeout words "demo website"?! FireFox specially strikes nofollow-link (try it).. Do you see source code?! Do you see <a rel="nofollow"?!

What more evidence do you need?!

 

And if you read my post you would know that I actually agreed on this nofollow link. But that doesn't mean Squidoo is nofollow. All links on my pages are dofollow and even a few on the page you are linking to. How do you explain that?

Evidence? As long as I can find one dofollow link on my lens you don't have the chance to prove anything.

You want see what you want.. it is your right. I just show you that this possibility is exist. There is no sense for me to lie to you.
So, all your links are dofollow. That's good! And now you know what block you should not use.

 

You didn't answer my question. What about all the other DOFOLLOW links on the lens you link to in a previous post!?

 

That is really sad. Squiddo was usefull to build some backlinks. But I guess in future almost everylink will be nofollow exept if the owner of a site posts a link.

 

I have several and so do my clients. They are all do follow.

I said before nofollow link used is only on block Text with BIG Picture. Why? I don't know... Yes, other links dofollow but it is not important. Precedent is exist. Just imaging that some one use only aforesaid blocks.. so? He will have all links nofollowed. I don't tell that all links on Squidoo lens are nofollow but there is one block where it is possible.

But my two first comments in this thread was to the OP in references to the first-post (Squidoo Is Now Nofollow Link). You are probably right about the image thing...

LOL it is still DOfollow. Just right click the link in Firefox and check properties. I see no Nofollow. This thread should be closed.
