Squidoo - how much are you making form this?

Hallo, people!
Wonder how much is possible to make with Squidoo.
I've seen a post with payment proof, and seems like with just a several lens this guy has earned ~30$ a month.
For me it sounds attractive. But still interesting how much people making of it.
Can you share please how much approximately you earn in a month & effort you put in it (if you want to reveal it).
Or maybe you know how much someone earns with Squidoo.

Or any info or tips would be very appreciated.

What you should do when you start a Squidoo Lens is pick a topic you know a lot about so you can write 500-1000 words of original content to populate the lens. Then start building it out like you would any site. You have to add affiliate banners, adsense or whatever to it...but if you work at it and pick a niche you can get some great rankings with Squidoo Lens.

 

The Adsense ads placement is automatic. Lensmasters have no control over it.

 

Thanks, guys, for a clear explanation, actually Squidoo is not so new program (at least half year old, or maybe more), but, honestly, i never heard on till last week, that they share ad revenue. Looks like this way of attracting members or posters is successfull and getting more popular nowadays....

 

no use man i get little traffic if you manged to get traffic its cool cause they pay through paypal

 

Aside from their adsense ads. You could also place your Adsense ads on your Lens.

 

Gunners, are you sure traffic is so low? Maybe your lenses are still very new?
Besides a chance to promote our lenses on other sites/forums, Squidoo has search engine on site and mozilla add-on with Squidoo search engine and some other options, which probably makes easier to find our lenses for others.
Maybe im wrong, but i think lenses still should get more traffic, than personal blog with the same promo effort (but personal blog probably has other advantages) imho
I'm not sure - it is just my thoughts

 

I make about 2-3 sales every week from a lens. The traffic is mainly from search engine... pretty targetted traffic.

or some product sales - ClickBank products etc. (if it is allowed to sell there)?

Yes, you can use referral/affiliate links in lenses
It's very easy to promote GPT sites with them, I get about 70-100 visits to one of my lens (mostly from Yahoo) and I get about 3-5 registrations every day

 

wow that's awesome. is one of the benefits - some sort of built up or bonus SEO that helps with search engines? Are there no follow tags automatic with squido or can it be used to build backlinks to blogs etc? Thanks for the advice.
