Squidoo - How do improve your lens?

    Is there a way to "add friends" or anything similiar on Squidoo? How do people network using Squidoo lenses to promote eachother?

    Here is my lense which ranks #1 on some Google search terms - anything else I can do to improve it?

    Make sure you've covered all the basics (you should rename your Guestbook default title "New Guestbook" to something more appropriate).

    I also suggest using Gather to help promote your lenses.

    Gather is a good tip, I haven't tried this one.
    Here are few factors that can boost a squidoo lens:
    # times lens has been e-mailed
    groups you belong to
    # of lens ratings (there are ratings exchanges on Squidoo and in the freebies forum
    I can't verify, but I think del.icio.us bookmarks may be a factor.

    I'm not sure about traffic from squidoo itself, though the google ranking is something that I've noticed (the lens outranks my own site for some important keywords). I have a few high-ranking lenses (170 & 480) but I've only seen a couple of hits and no earnings. Still trying to decide if Squidoo is worth it, or if you have to crack that top 100 to see real results.
