No, it's still dofollow. Don't abuse it though. Make a good, thoughtful lens and visit the SquidU forum to get tips.
As with any site that is dofollow, I really wish people wouldn't abuse it. As soon as moderators or site owners see that they are being spammed they change the site to nofolllow and then your spam is unseless anyway. Do you part and post something to contribute and keep links as dofollow.
The links in my article are DOFOLLOW, see the example: http://www.squidoo.com/watch-family-guy-online-free
I second what @usasportstraining said: please make sure not to abuse it. When you use any resource online including forums, blogs and this very site, make sure you don't abuse it. Squidoo is still dofollow that time I checked so whatever you post there, make sure it adds value, information and relevant.
After some time they made nofollow. But you can make lens, its good for increase visibilites/ visitors.
yes, after some time, they will change do-follow to nofollow. see the example: http://www.squidoo.com/health-free-trial-offer It's nofollow now.
I was passing by and i really had to post on this as i saw your opinions on squidoo. Squidoo is one of the social media king. The lens rank very well. I never had a nofollow link. Check out my lens in my threads. Some of you guys have the misconception so i wanted to clear it up! I have around 3 accounts and one has over 200 lenses. If your lens fall below 200-300k they become nofollow. Update the lens often and make it good. I dont want to post my lenses here but just refer to my thread and check out the samples at least to get a good idea , good luck!
I reckon that's because that lens looks spammy - there's no real content so no real value to anyone reading it.I've had a lens up for quite a few months now and the main links are still dofollow. I wouldn't be surprised if the owners of Squidoo have already flirted with the idea of making all links nofollow already - there's just far too much spam on there and I'm sure they spend a lot of time trying to combat this.
Links are only tagged with nofollow if they are still considered to be Work In Progress. The example quoted above (health-free-trial-offer) will not become dofollow until it comes out of WIP.
