I'm working on a squidoo lens to market my writing. Is it better not to put your e-mail address on the lens?

I personally don't put my email address anywhere...a good trick to use is to write it like this: me [at] MyAddress.com - it's doubtful that you'll get included on spam lists that way.

If you haven't already, go to your Squidoo profile and enable the Contact me link. This allows lens visitors to make contact, without you having to reveal your email address to them.

Publishing your email address online will result in attracting lots and lots of spam.

Depend on your strategies. If you use the Squidoo as bum marketing, you don't need to put any email address. If you want to build relationship with customers, you may put your email address but make sure not using [at] not '@'. To avoid spamming.

Customers can use the 'contact me' link on the lens if you have it enabled. Squidoo set up this option so you could build customer relations without revealing your email address and getting spammed.

And if a person really wants to encourage feedback and contact they can get the URL for their contact form and make a link to it in the body of their lens.
