I would love to hear your thoughts on this. What is better to link to via PPC and article/bum marketing, a squeeze page or a conventional landing page?
That's some complete bullshit right there Google loves squeeze pages, as long as they still provide some sort of value to the visitor, you need some content on it. As long as the visitors are targeted a squeeze page is always better, because you can market to them over and over again.
Why not do a split test. Divide your campaign in two just to see which one convert the best. Squeeze page or landing page, both demand a lot of work because you actually need to convince your visitors to get the product from your page or to provide you with their personal email address. Do some testing mate, that's the only way you are going to find the answer of your question Good luck Mega
Yeah, maybe that's the best option (well it usually is ), I just want to see what you all think. However, with landing pages, you either make a sale or you don't, and that's pretty much an instant decision by the user. But, with squeeze pages, it's a long-term thing, they may sign up but only buy several months later, making testing a bit more lengthy and trickier. Thanks anyway.
i dont know what a squeez page is but there's a landing page designer name tom fuller in florida who makes some of the best landing pages around people that used him say that they have really high conversion rates try googling tom fuller or kebb for that matter i think his site address is keeb.com
Here is an example of a squeeze page http://business4profitsystem.com/leads3/megarudy89 Some of them look more professionals.
Let me clarify. My landing page would be an article/review promoting an affiliate product, my squeeze page would be an article promoting a free email mini-course in that particular niche, throughout which I would direct subscribers to that affiliate product maybe a couple of times over a few weeks.
I'd still go with squeeze page. Often I'll do a traditional review style landing page - with an opt in form offering a 5 page report or something that took me 2 minutes to write, that still has VALUE. Look, I'm reading a book right now, and YOU NEED TO READ IT TOO! It's by Mark Joyner and it's called The Irresistible Offer. Read it, you'll see why later.
Nice persuasion techniques, I presume you learn that sort of stuff in the book? Anyhow, thanks for sharing your thoughts.
Well, if you put some content on the squeeze pages, like few related articles, then it will be fine. But I don't think that Google likes a crappy page with two paragraphs and email box.
So you think a decent page with an informative article/review promoting a product as well as an incentivized (if that's a word) opt-in form would work best? Sort of a compromise between a landing page and a sqeeze page. And it keeps big G happy. I'd like to hear your past experiences with landing/squeeze pages or especially the sort of page I just described, what works, what doesn't etc...
