Squeeze Page Help

    Hi.

I am totally new at making websites. I have Kompozer (NVU) and I am handy with wordpress (thought I cannot customize).

I want to create a squeeze page. Essentially all I want is a video on the left side of the page (quite big) and an opt-in box on the right hand side. That is it, and all above the fold. I would also like some graphics to jazz up the opt-in form as a bit as well. I have no idea how to do either.

    Here are my questions:

    - Its a very basic layout, how much would it cost me (closest estimate) to hire a designer to do this?

    - Has anyone any advice on how I could go about doing this?

-Any programs or products which lets you do this very easily? I have struggled with blink web, and it hasn't been an easy ride.

Thanks for reading, and any help you can offer.

    Alex

I would say that you could get that done including the graphics for $100 or under. If you have the video embeding it shouldn't be hard and the opt-in will probably be mostly coded from aweber/getresponse?

Depending on is you have used CSS or not, you could position the 2 items using the float command or if not set out a table with two columns.

If you need some more help just let me know.

Thanks for the response. I'll look into that.

Thanks also for the estimate quote I'd have to pay for something like this, that sounds very reasonable.

And yes, I am using getresponse. But I am using Kompozer, so I believe I am not using css, but html. I think anyway.

HTML will be the main language for the page structure, you will be able to embed CSS into it or even great a separate stylesheet using Kompozer (or any other text/html editor).

If you have specific details I could code you the basic layout, I'm just not too great with graphics.

I am looking at doing the same thing as well so thanks for letting me piggy back on your thread

I want to ask one question how hard is it to add a payment option for people to buy a simple $10 service on the inside once they have filled in there information?

    Hi Erik.

I think thats something you do in the actual autoresponder. Once you have your page set up and payment button ready, you just put the url into the field that says "thank you page" when setting up your autoresponder. I think thats what you are asking about anyway. Hope that helps.
