    Hello guys..

I was just checking we can get a used CD for SQL Server 2008 Standard for like around 300-400$...
So is it worth buying it and than mount in to the Dedicated Server?

As the Hosting companies are charging like $225 every month just to use SQL server 2008 standard.

Please shed some light on this. Appreciated

Some hosting companies do not allow you to use your own license to prevent cracked/pirated key, might be best for you to ask them if their TOS allow this kind of setup.

Those cd's might be pirated, and definately none of the hosting company will allow you to use them.

because if something have real price of $300/month, you can't get it $400 for life time.
