SQL column names as headers

I thought I had hope but I was unable to get this to work

Ideally I would like my html column headers to be whatever I rename my query fields as


for instance SELECT table AS booger

I would like my html column name to be booger

any ideas on how to accomplish this?

 

use this query to change column names

SELECT COL AS NEW_COL, COL2 AS NEW_COL2 FROM TABLE

 

is there any reason this tutorial wouldn't work as written if I use a correct db query?
