SQL bid error in phpLB v1.2

I am experiencing a weird SQL bid error, each time someone bids for a position in the directory their amounts fails to add to the bid and I had to do it manually. Instead of getting a confirmation message that a bid has been automatically added, I get an SQL error message via email notification as follows:

SELECT FAILED ON: SELECT link_id, link_url, link_title FROM tbl_links WHERE link_url = ""

Heh, didn't realise it was a common occurrence since I've never experienced it before this. Anyway, I have applied the fix but will need to test it. Anyone kind enough to test the bid at http://www.up6.org?
