Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any knowledge about what happens to the link juice with the following scenario: High PR site A linked to low PR site B's homepage as well as one of site B's deep link pages. Does the link juice split evenly 50/50? Or does it spread unevenly, most of which goes to the homepage? Any information on this situation would be most helpful and appreciated. Thank you!
Nobody but Google knows ;-) Here is an old blog post by Matt Cutts about a related question, hope that helps: http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/pagerank-sculpting/ SY
there is no such thing as even split and even link juice is a questionable area. Since both links are going to the same domain I would guess that both get similar value, but in google eyes some of these pages may be more worthy, so again, who knows...besides Matt of course!
