Spotted arbitrage opportunity in Bitcoin. Can a foreigner open an Indian bank account?

    There's a huge price spread between a US exchange and an Indian exchange, but the only issue is that I don't have an Indian bank account. The spread is $1,100 per bitcoin, so the opportunity is huge and I'd prefer not to miss out.

    I'm in the US, and can buy bitcoins here instantly. However I don't have an Indian bank account, so I can't transfer the rupees back to my US bank account. Is it possible for someone from outside of India to open an Indian bank account?
