Sports Force Interactive Good Evening Ladies and Gentlemen, I was wondering if you guys would take a couple minutes to review my Australian Sport Network, I would appreciate all the reviews I can get so I know if I am heading in the right direction or not. We launched on the internet back on January 01 2009, and made huge in-roads on the internet, with sport organisations sending us media releases and the members were really flying into the forums racing to 9k members and about 50-60k threads and double to triple that in posts. However two months ago we were hacked, and therefore we are in a rebuilding stage and decided to take the hit and install vBulletin Publishing Suite 4.0 and working on customizing it and working on getting everything back to hopefully where we were. Its very clean with a good color scheme. The only concern I have is the widget on the front page is not rendering certain characters from the forums correctly. example: The "Greg" Excuse
It has a lot of information, however the tiling background at first looked like a watermark for a template that had not been purchased.
Thanks for the feedback, vBulletins new design system is is hard especially when not everything is customizable yet so getting a thumbs up on the design is greatly appreciated. I have asked all of my members etc to report any bugs (as it is a BETA version of the software) and not one of them have picked up on it - to be fair neither had I but I will work on fixing it. I am currently working on my own custom widgets with sports ladders etc and hoping to get rid of these ones so hopefully in the coming day or so that wont be there and wont be an issue, but thanks for pointing it out. Lol at first I liked the background and thought it helped stand out slightly seem I am keeping the main part of white I thought the dark would break it up abit, however after hearing (well reading) what you wrote I don't want to make it look like a template I haven't paid for when I created it so I am talking to people to help me change it we are thinking seem it is a sport site having some photos of the leading players in the background but in grey/gray so that it just breaks up the white.
