Way too light at the top of the page - need to change up some colors to increase saturation.

 

the design looks good at the top. even though the site looks overcrowded its nice.

 

2 columns of posts dont look nice. better have single column.

also please tell your developer to 301 redirect http://www.sportsstatsblog.com/index.php to http://www.sportsstatsblog.com/. if you have 2 urls accessable for the main page your pr will be seperated between two of them. its not so desireable.

 

As rep mentioned, the template is kind of messed up. You should choose a better template imo. From the looks of it, it looks like you're using a CMS (joomla or something)

I think you have a simple layout for yoru niche make a nice layout and something good so that you can attract sports fans

I like a buttons to change font and width on top
ok, the site is good. but! These two columns with content not seems equal! and they need a padding.
Font is too small. Because you post too much teaser text. decrease it and increase font! you'll see how cool it looking

 

It will be better if you show the picture on main post bigger than now...
