    Well it does make u phyiscally excercise with enjoyment but at times it gets tiring

    Well ya it does makes us healthy only if its an outdoor game. :D
    The ones which require our all body parts to move. :)
    And the indoor ones are good to make our brain active.

    yeah, it's totally true...sport will make our body fit.
    but we must see what kind of sport is it, playing chess everyday won't make our body healthy :)

    Well, I'm pretty sure that professional chess player do work out or are in a some kinda training program. Training makes you sharper and edgier both in body and head.

    it defeats the purpose if you sit on couch all weekend watching sports and only work out once during the week.
