Hey as we know spore is a game that is about to launch. i got the domain about 3 yrs back and iv just horded it. Is this worth anything? or have i wasted my money keeping it? -Fools
If you paid reg fee to begin with, I don't think you can loose on this one. It is memorable, brandable and consists of related keywords. In addition to the game, there is also a strong mycological angle that may be worth exploring. Either way you should be able to find a buyer if you don't want to go the development route. I would think you could expect anywhere in the low three to low four digit range for this one, depending on whether you want to flip or invest time, energy and money building.
i would develop it but as you mention building a forum is long and tiresome! Though it will rank well for the keyword so maybe easyer than my other forums. And yes i did just buy it for the reg fee.
You're definitely going to have TM issues if you go with the game-route, therefore making the value of the domain next to nothing.
