Sponsoring WP templates - is it worth it?

    what do you think about buying links in wordpress templates? Are they still worth something after Panda update?

    What you meen by "links in wordpress templates"? Hijacket templates, or just in the Footer?

    I think he means sponsoring themes.
    You pay some money to get a link in the footer.

    If A LOT of people downloads the theme and uses it, it might be good.
    But you will most likely not get any value from purchasing footer links since most people
    just submit the themes to random forums where no one looks.
