If you were a business and approached to sponsor a local organization (something with about 10-12 people) for about $150 per year, what kind of exposure could you expect in return? Obviously 10-12 people aren't going to provide a massive marketing opportunity, but maybe they could agree to Like your Facebook page and provide positive reviews on Yelp! Any other ideas that may be worth about $150?
It really depends on what your business is about. If you are a consulting company and each of the members could refer you to a potential prospect and you got a big contract from one of them, that would be a nice marketing campaign. If you sell an inexpensive, consumer-oriented product, Yelp reviews, Facebook likes, and a tweeted link might be the best that they can do for you. Of course, you can also generate some goodwill for your company by publicizing your sponsorship of this worthy organization.
