I use the biz-directory script on one of my sites, and i am just wondering if anyone that uses this script has integrated sponsored/featured links into it? I am sure it will not be too hard, and i know i will have to add a new category in the table_pages to check if it is featured or not... and also the query must be ran on the index.php page the same place & time you are echo'ing the regular links on each page...

I am ok with PHP, but i have fooled around, and cant seem to get it to work... (without buying the really expensive full version)

    Thanks,
    Chris

I might also note that it is pretty easy to import your data into the script at www.phplinkdirectory.com which offers featured links, and does not require you to link to a page with porn links.

    I vote for phpLinkDirectory too.

It is a proper open source project and has heaps of neat features, and no grubby links.

The hard work is all done, the site is easy to customise using CSS and templates.

Thanks Michelle, but everyone is completely missing the point here. I already have a site built on biz-directory. I am not going to change that -- maybe if i was starting over again, but i am not.

I am just looking for someone out there that may have integrated sponsored/featured/paid links into their biz-directory script. I need help in getting this started since i am not very good at writing the loop where it needs to be in my code.
