Can I put the title "Sponsored Links" for the box displaying adsense ads?
    Does google like it?
I didn't find anything about it in the FAQ's
But many sites seem to have that

Google only supports: “sponsored links” or “advertisements.”

ummmm - did you actually read the TOS? Its pretty clear there

So as you can see putting "Sponsored Links" is fine.

I don't understand why would you like to write this. Haven't you got enough "Ads by Gooogle"?

I could not find anything in the FAQ

Just change "sponsor links" to "sponsored links" and you should be OK.

Its a minor thing but you might as well stick to EXACTLY what TOS says you can do.

It isnt in FAQs its in the TOS as per my earlier post

AA - why not? it is perfectly legitimate to put "sponsored links" or "advertisments" above Google ads!

Granted it doesn't really achieve anything but if he wants to do it he is perfectly entitled to do so.

Thanks for the advice, I will change it to "sponsored links"
I wanted to put in a title just to fit in with the theme
(The site is just an experimental one)

Because it already have the "Ads by Gooooogle" label.

And expect to have low CTR coz people will see clearly that it is an ad.

AA - this is a mute point.

I have tried with the "allowed" headers and in some cases its been better and in some worse. In most it has made very little difference.

The point is it IS allowed and it is not for you to tell him what he can and cannot do. Remember his question was "is it allowed" NOT "is it better".

Meditang - the best way is to try a few weeks with the header and a few weeks week without - that way you will find out for yourself which works best for your site and colour scheme.
