Does the ads in your google campaign appear in the sponsored ads aswell. Ya know the ads that appear just before the search results, not at the side. If not, how do you get them in the sponsored results.
To land in the sponsored links area above the natural search results, you need the following: - A good CTR (relative to your competitors) - A competitve bid - A good quality score (when users click on your ad, they don't return to Google still looking for what they want). Huligan
Besides QS and CTR, history plays a big part as well. I'm in the debt market. One term on average is about $5 a bid. However when I first started, I had no QS no CTR and even though I was bidding $10, the top position I could get was 4th or top of the right hand side. I even tried a $20 bid for a couple of days. My ad position did not change. It wasn't until I was able to gain some good CTR and my QS was up, then I was able to get in the top three spots on the left at my $10 bid. Over time, I was able to drop that bid to the average level as my CTR improved.
