Hello, I own a small free web hosting company that is looking for space on various servers in exchange for advertising space on our site. We are willing to trade cPanel and Direct Admin resellers in exchange for advertising space on our site and in our welcome, activation and newsletter emails. Hosts who are interested would need to provide: - A cPanel or Direct Admin Reseller - 2 GB of Storage Space (+) - 75 GB of Bandwidth (+) - A maximum of 30 accounts - A private IP (Recommended, but optional) For offshore providers, this requirement is typically cut in half. In exchange you will receive: - 88x31 advertisement on every page of our site. - 468x60 advertisement on our sponsorship page. - 88x31 advertisement in every cPanel server we host on (yours being at the top on your server) - A text link on all of our monthly news announcements currently going out to close to 400 active email addresses. Our current policies: - If a client breaks an agreement we have with you, you can suspend them without requesting our permission. Simply send us an email with their username and the offense within 24 hours. - Our company has less than a 1% abuse rate among clients, we deal with all support and manually screen accounts on a weekly basis. - We don't allow file hosting on our clients accounts, thus most clients use less than 50 MB of storage and about 1% of the total bandwidth we receive. File hosters are suspended and terminated within 24 hours by us. - We request that you send us your current server statistics and load/ram usage to determine eligibility. Hosting providers using more than 60% of either will not be accepted. - You can drop your sponsorship with us given you provide a 4 day notice to us via email at any time. However if you choose to accept no further accounts, but are willing to keep the ones you have until they become inactive we will leave your advertisement on site assuming you have more than 20 accounts currently. - You may choose to sponsor us by providing more than 1 reseller account on separate servers in which case you can receive additional advertising space on site. 60% of what? And i did see that you offering proxy hosting,so you will use the reseller hosting for proxy hosting?
@mentos We don't allow proxies on our service as of 6/19/10. (Terms) When we first access the reseller account we will check to see the server's stats. If more than 60% of the servers RAM/CPU or storage space is being used when we first log on we will cancel the deal with the hosting provider as we prefer to offer quality hosting over hosts that jam their servers full. @mentos Well, yes and no... All of the hosts will be displayed on the sponsor page in a random order so that no one hosting company is ever always on top... (Demo) The demo link listed above has 3 ads for Apenex, but as you can see if you reload no one ad is always on top, bottom or in the middle. The same thing would apply with 10 or even 40 banners. Equal distribution of advertising space. As for the 88x31 they will also be on rotation at the bottom of the site appearing in various orders based on the page load, just at the bottom and horizontally, not vertically.
That's because simply put, we don't have any active sponsors at the moment. We provide our own server space.
The site gets roughly 200 - 250 uniques per day and about 1,200 - 1,500 pageviews per day. The same applies to the forums (which are monitored separately) and the proxy we host. In all up to 750 uniques site wide and 5,000 pageviews per day total.
