    Hello all :)

I am searching for sponsor for my football website www.1000goals.com that could bring nice profit to us.

We have sportbooks as sponsors on yearly basis and new sportbooks are comming to sponsor us... but also we have the main advertising spot still available on our website...

I would like to have some football game or something similar that would pay us for leads :)

anyone know some program that would be suitable for 100% football-soccer content?

    thanks :)

    Some options for you

You could contact sites that run online football manager games ( One such one is onlinefootballmanager.co.uk), and ask them whether they'd be interested in advertising on your site.

You could join as an affiliate for football shirts and tickets. ( There are various affiliate programs that do this)

You could even make money from e-mail/zip submits if the user simply needs to submit his e-mail in order to win a free tshirt/ any freebie.

Hey dude.. Great site and great layout.
With the percentage of visitors from UK ( according to Alexa.. not totally accurate I know..) & your current Alexa rank it gives a rough estimate to Advertisers for you to approach them.

I agree not a lot football specific out there..But you seem to me more looking for a site wide advertiser rather than promoting affiliate ads ( as liverpoolfan suggested..)

I started a Football blog a while back and havent figured out exactly what Football Fans want when they arrive on a site ( from an exit point of view via an ad..) but work in progress ;)

Sorry cant help more dude, interested in link exchange?

    Cheers!

maybe you should look at soccer.com i know they have an affiliate program and maybe if you contact them, they might be interested in sponsoring your site. though i am not sure if they would want to be affiliated with a betting site but hey, it never hurts to ask.

    Alexa is sh*t lol
I have 25% of UK traffic and alexa says 15 :D

I'll tell you something about football audience and save your time... they will only click on banners that have football on them lol... no football, no clicking on ads hehe... the ratio is realy big... if I have non football ads I get 70% lower ctr...

I am also Liverpool fan :)

I disagree with ss101, I opened it with safari and don't even have a popup ad. The website is very cool indeed, but I advise you to check out soccer.com afflt programs and even mail marketing with a good clubs/fans/football database to improve your business.

And again, very good design :)

You can disagree all you want, but that does not change what happened to me. Was it intentional? I have no clue, as I did not program the site. Could it have been a glitch on my end or their end? Sure, but I know what I experienced....I'm VERY glad others are not experiencing this...The owner of the site will notice a buch of visits from my Sprint PCS card within a couple of minutes before my laptop froze. This would have happened about 10 minutes prior to my 1st post....

Sorry about popups :( it is true unfortunately

It is true, this happened to me also... I tried to put paypopup on the site and I got the same thing... about 100000000 popups opened :D... I removed it emediately.

Never again lol... I hate popups

Thank you for nice comment Jackio :)
