Splitting long content pages--rule of thumb?

    Newbie here.

I have a content page on my little website that seems long. I would like to split it into two or three, but I don't want to appear to be padding my site, or making it discouraging for readers. I know I find having to click through to two or three times to finish an article annoying.

On the other hand, extended scrolling can be annoying, too...

Is there there a rule of thumb to say how long is a good length for a web page the keeps the balance between choppy and lengthy?

The page in question is here, in case that would be helpful:

I don't consider that page too long, it looks fine as it is and all of the content is relevant. It might distract the reader if they had to click to another page, so I would keep it as is.
