You can test it through experiments tab in campaign settings or through analytcs.

With experiments you cannot test landing pages.

You make one campaign and 2 ad groups with SAME ads and keywords. One ad group lands on one version of landing page, and second lands on another version. Then you see what gives you better conversions.
    Simple.
If you need help, PM me.

But then you are competing against yourself...

Nope. You choose how much traffic is going to which landing page.. Go through the process and you shall see.

    Hello

You can do split-testing by creating two identical ads with different destination URLs. In same Ad Group you can create two different ads with different destination URLs. So Google will display alternate ads every time when your ad is eligible to appear. So after some time Google will display best performing ads in search. Google will display ads which has higher CTR. By this way you can test different landing page and different ads.

@Jigney - not like that. That way you compete with yourself. Google added experiments for that.

Creating 2 group ads with same keywords YOUR ARE competetnig yourself. Creating 2 same ads with different url YOU DON'T. Copiing Ad Group with same keywords you create duplicate keywords which are competeting each other (see Find duplicate keywords https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/2453976?hl=en)

There are two ways how to do A/B testing in Adwords:

    1) Simple way => Create same ads in adgroup, but with other URL. Than just compare CTR.
    2) Complex way => Campaing settings -> Experiments

I don't think the "simple way" works. Doesn't google require only one destination url for any adgroup?

No, the destination URL is set for each ad.
I am going with the simple way as well, that is ads with different URL in the same ad group.
