Split a song

    I need a program that will allow me to split a song apart into its individual tracks so that I can remove different parts of a song or add parts to a song. Example: I've recorded of the radio for instance and I want to split the song apart so that I can extract the track/s, how would I do this?

    ANother option is to play the song and then use software like Total Recorder to record the audio directly from your sound card.

    How about lifting the voice from a video tape. I have my wifes voice talking to my son the I think is awesom and I would like to use it in future videos. Any ideas?

    Video tape as in VHS and VCR? ;)

    You could always use a digital voice recorder, but the quality won't be very good.

    I think there are workarounds that allow you to hook up your vcr to your computer. See this article.
