hello there i created a small animation using photoshop cs4 that i wants to use it as a splash page for my joomla site when trying to export it i am obligated to that in gif format which stinks as a splash page ( slow loading + have to link the whole picture ) so i was looking for some one to help me with a solution for this should be simple job for some one who knows what i am talking about regards ahmed
Slow loading? GIFs are among the fastest loading and lowest file sized formats out there, even for animation. Flash takes time to load, but not gifs.. But if your doing a splash page, why not just make it in Adobe flash? Once you get a hang of the program it makes animation 100x easier then in photoshop, and you have a ton of more options as to what to do with that animation.
