The design is great, I love its minimalism. About the domain name, it's good, but I'm kind of confused why you chose 'spit' though.
I thought "spit" was kinda cool, as it to spit out a new URL. I thought of spiturl.com and its short only 7 characters and has the word "url" for Seo benifits. Thanks for the review!
the name is good, as you explained, it fits well.like the simple design with just one banner at the top. It's cool, since it gives the advertising a good exposure too.
I support your web-site idea. Some people may have different feelings about 'spit' word, like a 'controversial' word in the domain name of web-site that is not rude. Great thing is that your blue image is centered from border-to-border and the text is in the middle for all monitor sizes, I have a 20" Wide screen and everything is positioned as it should be.
Putting too much ads scares away its momentum for more traffic. Give a good service to people then they come back again again...then you put the ads.... Thanks I like the domain too.
