spiders giving me hoplink hits?

So i have been noticing that every once in a while all my hoplinks get hit, sometimes 2 or 4 times.

I have a website with a bunch of different CB hops and the only thing I can think of is that when some spiders crawl my site they are giving me hits on my hops .. anybody else get this?

the only reason why I notice this is my site doesn't get that much traffic yet and i doubt that some one is going through and hitting all my links... twice.

Does anybody know what may be happening? I saw mentioned some where in another post that I read that robots can steal my affiliate links? Could that be it?

The robots don't steal your links or commissions. When they crawl your website, they go through your hoplinks. Whenever someone calls the ClickBank servers for a hoplink redirect, it counts as a visit on ClickBank.

That is true. These visits do tend to change analytics to some extent.
