So I've learned the hard way that having your email in plain text on a site is the worst move of all time (because it causes you to get copius amounts of SPAM)... But what about having a phone number in plain text, do spiders grab the numbers to sell and gather for shady telemarketers? I ask because I'm designing a site that needs to have a phone number on a bunch of pages and I don't want to get a bunch of crap phone solicitations...
