Now google is giving weightage to Blogs.

 

I have seen DP posts showing up in search results, which were created just mins ago

 

You can ping google and your page will appear immediately (If your site is blog) however it will be indexed later on.(You can not see cached page)

 

Its awsome ...the fatest i got was with in 4 hours.....so ur article was spidered prety quickly.

 

blog posts get indexed really fast, even with no pagerank and inbound links

 

I think blogger is also in the same category which helps to index fastly like any other, but the main thing is that, how many bookmarked you have done for this url. IMO only Digg can help you to get index quickly.
