I'm interested in getting this, however I noticed Premium membership is 25$/month. $25 for the search replacement is more than fair, but does that fee entitle me to download updates even after my membership has expired? How often should I be expecting to need to update Sphinx?

 

Just thought I'd update my previous comments. I took the plunge and paid the $25, install was mostly painless. Our forum only has 125,000 posts right now, but hopefully this puts us in a good position for the future. Impressed with teh Sphinx so far

If searchd does not run, chmod searchd file to 0755.
