    Hi,

I ordered an OQO model 01+ at eXpansys USA on August 30, but they were unable to get my package through customs because OQO model 01+ doesn't have a special certification that would have to be done by the actual manufacturer.

So they promised to give me a full refund once the package get returned to their warehouse. Unfortunately, FedEx didn't or can't get in touch with eXpansys USA to get the documents needed to return it from the customs, now it's a bit too late, the customs had processed the item, it can't be returned anymore.

I have contacted all related departments of eXpansys USA many times, now they no longer reply to my emails.

    What should I do now?

    Thanks

Which country did you belong to and which method you used to Pay ?

If you paid with credit Card then chargeback the whole thing if you did not receive your stuff.

    Hi Ajucoolest,

I am living in Shanghai, China. The payment was sent using PayPal funded by a Visa credit card.

I asked my credit card issuer whether I will get the money back, but the staff said I may fail if they did ship the item.

Is that okay to chargeback PayPal and will I fail?

    Thanks

How much the time has passed ? Try to dispute the transaction in your Paypal Account stating that you did not receive the item and then file a case with your CC company as well to get your funds back stating the same thing.

I really hope that you might be able to get your funds back.

Using dispute is the best you can do through paypal. But for some reasons, after the dispute period, if the seller just keep quiet, paypal can't do anything. I have had this kinda experience before.

But you can still contact your credit card for the problem, even though you use paypal as the 'middleman'

    Just my two cents.

If the seller is small then he would remain quite but anyone who is selling the goods worth $684 will definitely not want his/ her Paypal Account to be limited for a long period of time.. so they would definitely return or refund the payment.

Best option would be creating a dispute with your CC company which will involve both the Paypal and Expansys and in this way you might be able to get your funds back..

Honestly, if you don't receive the item and the company doesn't refund your money - just go nuts.

Cause them hell, open PayPal disputes, file a dispute with your card provider, etc...

I sent the payment on August 29. I have just opened the dispute in PayPal.

What I worry is that they did ship the item, and it is in China, I don't know what will happen.. I placed the order almost 3 months ago, could I still get the money back?

Bad luck, claims must be filed within 45 days of the transaction or the claim will be denied :(

After open dispute policy, you may open a investigate process. What I do,before few months ago,I master reseller saller name hostingspace4u.net just give me a account after paypal payment $145. But,when I got account, hosting never work for a second. I open a dispute. Paypal say,on this period of time,I need to communicate with that seller. If seller not reply,I need to open investigate process. If I don't,it will be close after 15 days time period. But,hostingspace4u.net owner change his email address & inform me,he is not pay me!Anyway, after that I open investigate process. Its a long tearm process. But,that guy understand,I will return my money anyway,he return my amount. If you open a investigate process,at that time, you may releave. But,bed luck, time is over now!

Depends upon the credit card company. Some credit Card companies do allow chargeback even till 6month so I guess you can have a chance .. otherwise badluck
