What does it mean when somebody have a budget of $200 to spend on links at a startup of a site? $200 or $300 it's just an example.. is it to for manual directory submission service or what is it? Thanks in advance
You can buy "permanent" one way links for about $5 each from members of this forum. Search around. I would imagine if someone says they've got a link budget of $200 they're buying approximately 40 one way links.
Yes, but how trusted links With $200 you can buy few decent trusted links, I'm saying about some directories. I doubt that someone will give you permanent link for $5, maybe some scraper site.
high pr links are tougher to come by. You usually cannot pay for a good one. I wish I had a reliable way to get those
I'm not advocating such links, I was simply answering the question. If you can find a good source, you can find some respectable links for $5 each. Buying links should be one part of a "holistic" link program. --Mark
So...you're saying I am undercharging for the links in my link directories? I offer 4 lifetime links on seperate IPs for $5. See my sig.
okay... now i get it. Spending on links is spending for directories links and textlinks through a service like Adbrite and others. But spending on Adbrite is just for 1 day, 1 week or 1 month, I need to spend it every month on it though.. will this increase the pr?
Some affordable links are on these 2 busy sites Forplex Business Directory & Frog Engine Both PR5 and both supported by sustainable marketing and support
I'm currently spending 40GBP on Adwords per month at the mo - would I be better off spending this money on quality links? Oh pilar, BTW, your signature might read better saying: "Considering visiting Barcelona?" my written English skills aren't great but your signature just looks a little odd to me Good luck, p.
maybe a stupid question, but why should you buy high pr textlinks? Isn't it possible/enough to submit your link to a high pr directory which is free? Or are there no free high pr directories. I thought mrkumar posted a list with free directory submission, also to high pr sites. Correct me if i'm wrong
Because the more high pr links the merrier. Sure, there are a few free pr 6 directories, and there are some good pr 6/7 sites that will give you links, but why not get all those free links and buy a couple more? If 10 high PR links are good surely 20 would be better, right?
you are right man, but im new to this and don't know if there are many free high pr sites to submit a free link. I thought there are +hundred well known directories with a pr6 or higher where you could put your link for free, but it seems there are not that much unfortunately.
There are many things they could be spending it on. They could be contracting it out, charging you for the time required to do 3 or 4 way link exchanges, directory submissions or buying text links or any combination of those. You would have to ask them I think.
With 200$ you can pay someone for submission to free webdirectorys Olso pay someone to write an articles and to submit it to articledirectorys And with the rest of the money buy some good listings in webdirectorys that worth it. That's my 2 cents
Spread the wealth around - get some free directory submissions, do a couple of paid directory submissions, pickup some blog postings and then keep an eye on the Links Sales threads to round out your campaigns.
If you want to buy links with 200$ you must spend it wisely. If i were you and only have 200$ i would spend it to PR7 - PR6 directories, there are just a few good directories PR7 and PR6 and you'll find them pretty easily, with 200$ you should get 5 > 10 backlinks from them. Or you can also buy multiple featured or regulars links from PR4 > PR5 directories at 5$/link and you'll get a load of one way link that you'll be sure to keep. Try to get 400$ and apply both techniques or choose one
With $200.00 a decent strategy would be to save for two months, then submit to the yahoo directory, $299.00, and Microsoft small business directory. You could also do a couple of small link purchases that second month with the left over $50. After that I would suggest finding one or two good paid directories each month, and submitting to those, you could also hire someone to submit you to maybe 50 free directories per month, since your starting with a new site and 0 links you need to go slow, going with the largest directories at first is best.. if u can get into DMOZ that is good, it's free.... after you do some of that stuff picking up links off of DP users for $5-$50 isn't a bad deal either, the value of a perminate link, usually only goes up.
