Do you actually mean spending advertisting money
    on ADWORDS ??

Not sure if its the right forum to post your question

    ----------------------

Depends on what you expect as a return
what is the product you are promoting ?

Personally I would spend 50% of the budget on SEO
    25% on adwords
25% on other banners and advertising

It depends. Some spend $500/day some spend $500/month (that would be me).

Sure, if your profit is $600 or more;)
Seriously, you need to figure out your ROI. There are people and companies spending thousands a day, but they are making a profit.

    Good luck,

That's a fair starting budget but it doesn't mean you have to spend it all before you find some winners. If your budget is tight, make sure you're on top of your keyword tracking and don't be afraid to cut your losers after a set amount of clicks or ad spend. If you're promoting cost per sale items then 100 clicks per keyword is fair or when you've spent 50% of your revenue on ad costs for one keyword. This still may eat into too much of your budget but it depends what you are promoting and whether you are prepared to try a variety of offers.

If you're promoting offers as an affiliate make sure you don't get attached to any particular offer. Many of the offers you put up will fail. Set an amount you're willing to spend per offer and if it doesn't convert, ditch it and more on to the next offer.

Offers that don't work are feedback so think of the money spent as an educational expense. Then use whatever you've learned and apply it to the next campaign. If you keep doing that, you'll eventually find a winner.

I can do a ton of advertising for only $100 - I'd say start small, but try a few different services to find out what works for you.

I find with a of clients with deep pockets that there simply is not enough traffic and thus clicks to meet their max budgets. Nothing you can do about this. It is very frustrating when you are trying to scale your results but you are limited by the amount of people actually searching for your terms.
