Go with www.alivedirectory.com www.avivadirectory.com www.directorydump.com www.linksjuice.com www.ewebpages.org www.elegantdirectory.com www.romow.com www.linksfactory.net I think that would be more than a single yahoo link
I was going to list some others but seriously there are so many good directories owned by people here I fear I'd leave one out! Shop around for the best deals of equal caliber. Obviously paying more for better quality is worth it but look around $300 could go a LONG way in dP
its better to invest these 300$ in some listings in the strong directories, some blog posts and some sitewides...all these will bring you more value than just a one filthy link from YaWHOO directory...
Hello... Well i guess if its me then i would just go with the top five directories rather then with just yahoo as ive had sleek and king higher in websites catagories then business.com as well as yahoo.. so they aren't invincible or anything of the sort and to me not currently worth the Price... If you look here you have a few that are above business.com 2yi, webworldindex, sleek http://www.google.com/search?q=SPAC...avclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1B3GGGL_enUS222US222 thx malcolm
If I'm not wrong... now even Aviva Directory is an Authority Site Anyways better invest in multiple Directories than in Yahoo may be Alive, eWebpages, Romow, Gii.in, Aviva etc.. etc..
Yes, Aviva is authority directory. There are many other authorities directories like Alive, WOW Directory, Site Sift etc Saad
A lot depends on your website. If it is quality then I would definitely not submit to yahoo! I know that may be an unpopular choice and goes against what just about everyone else in this thread has said but after testing time and time again with my sites I would say 1 yahoo listing is worth more than being listed in the other directories. It is one of the first things I do when I launch a new site - from everything that I have seen with my sites it gives me some great initial trust with google. I used to be all for smaller directories but I've been able to rank my yahoo listed sites a lot quicker than others I own. Now should you decide to go with yahoo you need to ensure your site has a good chance of getting in, no point spending $299 and getting rejected. Lots of unique content, a nice design, and no dead links are a good start. This will also help you get listed in other directories. Try to stay away from putting ads on your site while you are submitting to directories. One thing I have found with yahoo directory is that a listing does more benefit for you in google than in the yahoo search engine which surprised me. Good luck deciding, but I would personally submit to yahoo, then the other directories as and when I can afford it.
Yahoo is too expensive. You can invest this money over a number of strong directories, and have a risk distribution also. I would go for the other options, not yahoo. At least not at that price.
