This thread is targetted at the "newbs" (no offence :)) who often don't know what some of the abbreviations in affiliate marketing mean. There is no order so if you're looking for something in particular I suggest you ctrl + f and search for it :).

PPC - Pay Per Click: A form of marketing where the affiliate places some form of ad on a site and pays for each click on said ad.

CB - Click Bank: A leading affiliate network dealing in digital product offers.

CJ - Commission Junction: A leading affiliate network dealing in a wide range of offers from well known brands.

CPA - Cost Per Action: A type of affiliate marketing whereby the consumer will complete a variety of different things depending on the offer, usually filling in a form, buying a product or downloading a product. CPA is generally reffering to affiliate marketing without the consumer actually having to buy a product for example zip submit/email submit offers.

CPS - Cost Per Sale: A type of affiliate marketing whereby the consumer will have to buy a product.

CPM - Cost Per Mille: A type of affiliate marketing where the affiliate gets paid for placing an ad on his/her site. The advertiser will then pay out for each 1000 impressions on that ad, mille being french for thousand.

eCPC - Effective Cost Per Click: An average earned per click calculated by diving the revenue over a time period by the amount of clicks required to get said revenue.

If there's anymore you can think of, hit me up and i'll post them. These were done off the top of my head and I ain't thinking straight at the moment :).
