Hm. Well spelling mistakes are usually present in the forum and thats what drives this kind of traffic. There is nothing wrong with it, since it may be acceptable in the forum.
In my opinion this is bad advice and a time waste on top. P Marshall tried telling people to use misspellings in PPC campaigns.. I did it with several major clients... and it simply drove useless non converting traffic...and cheapened the brand image,,,, Spend your time making your site more professional in all aspects and sales conversions will increase. And that is the bottom line in more than one way
Spending money for the terms with PPC is a lot different then getting it for free with organic SERP(s). I only have certain domains where I place typos on purpose and don't spell check / proof read however, because as the person above who said it will make visitors not want to return when they see spelling errors is 100% correct.
Yes you are right it is different between PPC & SERPs I was just thinking.... if a webmaster made a page with no way off but clicking an ad link or the X in the upper right corner... and filled it with misspells you could probably increase CTR% quite nicely... Then the only question is would targeted ad serving suffer??? Edit : Hell after looking at the handbag site you're the exact person to ask about this lol
As I said, these are Forum posts. I have no control over the spelling mistakes of my users As for the articles, so far I have always corrected all errors. What conclusion you draw from my posting is up to you. I didn't post any conclusions. You can also say having a Forum is good for traffic.
