I know this is a known tactic but how do I investigate this phenomenon further? I've not done any work on keyword strength for my site because it covers too much variety in content. So, what keyword tools are out there for finding the best spelling errors? Thanks, p.
I am not sure of tools to do that, but, it DOES work as you noticed. Keys near each other are obvious starting points.
i works like anything that too if you carefully choose them. here is an example google some type hoogle as "H" ilocated next to G or gooogle extra while ryping in hurry ...
You need to type your self say ten times and see what is the most common spelling mistake , it is trial and error , do not believe in automated keywords tool.
I do one thing to find spelling error that will generate some traffic. I just type fastly the main word and check for the spelling error and find it in keyword suggestion tool. Some spelling error keywords I got in the keyword tool and then add spelling errors keywords in the pages.
Nice site. Thanks for sharing. I read about this in newspapers (buying ebay items cheap due to poor/misspelled description), but never thought how do they do it.Rep+.
sure, it is very good way to get easily traffic but not continous , as google give your site low rank with time google rank sites which have not spell errors
such misspells generate some traffic, but this traffic is actually unuseful. Actually, if you don't have to sell something, it is an O.K. traffic, for you. There is some kind of software that can generate popular misspelled keywords... search google.
Ya, the best way would to just type your word out as many times as you can, don't stop along the way, and you're sure to get some good real typos.
