The contribution I was looking at installing is Attributes option type selection

    http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contributions,766/category,all/search,checkbox

So from what you are saying, I only have to install the one marked 18 Feb 2003 - Attributes option type selection v.2.02.MS1 - that would make life much easier.

    -------

I was also looking at improving the photo quality of product images. I knocked up the thumbnail size from 100x80 to 120x90 [might even do 160x120] - all the images I have are from the clients camera at 480x360 - that was easy.

However I was looking at a post that recommended installing a contribution that allowed multiple size images, and then uploading both small and large versions to avoid the dynamic thumbnail resizing. Your suggestion in post#1 looks a lot easier.

    Hello,

There is a new QuickBooks contribution (QBI) built by Adam Liberman(sp?).

I am not sure where the current release is, but I can tell you I have used his first release and and the base of his QBI contribution to customize a QB import system and was pretty impressed with what Adam has done.

    Might be worth checking out.

    Hey Chris...welcome to DP forum!

For those that don't know him he's one of osC's top coders and we have worked together on many projects...including contributions and client sites. He's the only person in the world that has ever received FTP credentials to my development server :)

I just fired up my first OS commerce store last night, and am looking to install some contributions, so I spent some time the last 2 days on the forums and in the contribution section. As a newbie, ratings (and even links to sites that have certain contributions live) would help very much, as many of the descriptions are one only one line, and can be difficult to interpret without a working knowledge of the cart.

I followed some of the links in Chemo's signature on the forums (before finding this thread), and will definitely implement the SEO stuff.

I have ultimate seo urls installed but my problem is with "Enable SEO cache to save queries?" If set to true, when adding new product in admin control panel any visitors will get slow down on page load until someone has fully loaded a page. I have for several months now had this set to false which solved the slow down problem but recently even though I'm on a fast dedicated server, when working in admin control panel during peak time, it is so slow. My store is quite fast on loading but very slow in admin contol panel, what can I do? Thanks in advance.
